County, District and Unitary Councils in Devon

Devon and Cornwall Councillors and Campaigners

Devon is administered by a County Council and nine District Councils across Exeter and the rural areas.

Plymouth and Torbay are run by Unitary Councils.

The Liberal Democrats are in control of Teignbridge District Council and together with the Independent group run Torbay Council. We are represented on seven out of the other eight District Councils.

See our current representation across Devon here.

The next local government elections in Devon will be the County Council elections and Plymouth City Council elections in May 2021. Torbay will not hold elections in 2021.
